Here in NYC for example, games like the MLB the Show have PS3 winning the HD console war easy. We all know that if Sony holds down key areas like major citys and Japan who are trend setters, then PS3 will be the more wanted item, while the 360's "walmart darling" bargain bin image could devastate the 360's chances for long term viability. |
Oh really? Here in Indianapolis and every major city I've seen, the Xbox 360 is still dominating in almost every single game.
Sure major cities have a chance of buying the more expensive stuff because that is a bigger part of their lifestyle and their wages are generally higher than other parts of the US. That doesn't change the fact that apparently the 360 still has majority favor.
And it's funny that you mention the Xbox as being "'walmart darling' bargain bin image" and state that this could devastate it, when the whole concept of Wal-Mart is to sell things at the lowest price. Oh and you know how there are 200 million Wal-Mart shoppers? Yeah, not exactly a bad thing for the 360 to be favored by Wal-Mart.

But rural towns don't set the trends, anything big you see in a big city, the rest of the country follows.
|
you do realize that the actual trend is the Wii, not the PS3 in NYC though, right? I assume you'd know that since you live in NYC. no HD console sets the trend in NYC.

Lol if I could tell you about the Wii fanboys I've met in the Village... Let's put it like this: they were fierce.

well it's the trend /shrug. I personally just want to play good games and I don't care what they are on. I just think Sony needs to figure something out with the PS3.
