He gives us a possibility and backs it up with facts from previous generations.  How is this so hard to understand?  Again, this is America only he is talking about.  The one place that the PS3 will never, EVER, catch up in sales.

The date he chose is irrelevant.  It's the idea that "when the next generation starts" the PS3 will be dropped from retail space due to having the lowest sales.  It could be before or after 2012 but the basis of this thread is the same.
