No, it shows nobody gives a fuck about racing games anymore. I loved Road Rash 1 and 2. Never loved a racing game since. Midnight Club: Street Racing was great too, and that was piggybacking off of The Fast and The Furious film. I believe that tastes in the United States have changed greatly. If your game isn't a blockbuster in the US then the game will be half as successful, in fact maybe less successful than that (in terms of sales). I wouldn't bet on our tastes in the US being what they were 2,3 8 years ago. Our affections are fickle at best.
