Yea, this does happen a lot over here. It annoys the hell out of me too. It's usually people at work that say it to you. They call the Christmas Party a Holiday Party, and rarely do people say Merry Christmas at the office.

I am an atheist of Jewish decent, and anytime anyone says Happy Holidays, I say Merry Christmas right back. This political correctness crap has gone way to far.

It's freedom of religion, not freedom from religion.
