If this was a sales disscussion then it would make sense but in terms of great games with proven devlopers its hard to go against the ps3 line up next year. As a PS3 and 360 owner I can honestly say that only Lost oddessy, ninja gaiden 2 and left 4 dead interests me. Alan wake I havn't seen anything from it in since a short trailer in 06, I never liked the first fable (i still have it on my PC as we speak but I have no intent to play it) World in conflict is a good game but will be on my PC alot sooner than the 360. Mean while almost all the PS3 big games next year has me giddy. Killzone 2 is a lock for me as I like the first and liberation on the PSP, MGS4, LBP Finally a game that my whole family will want to play together, Tekken 6 (Greatest fighting series IMO perfect balance of fun and gameplay), WKS (Level-5 has never let me down), disgaia 3 Funnyest RPG of ALL time. I know alot of you mentioned that nintendo is tight liped about thier unknown games, however every BIG game they let you know about atleast 1 year ahead of release. Im sure there will be some surprises that will sell well cause it has the nintendo name on it but SALES don't = a good game. pok'e'mon has been the sales king for years but I have not liked it since gold and silver when i was in jr' high almost 9 years ago, because its the same recycled concept. |
This is incorrect. The team creating Killzone 2 doesn't have one high-quality title to their name. Also, Square is creating FFXIII without Sakaguchi. XII is the only other title they have tried this with, and it is by most accounts not nearly as good as the few games preceeding it. In fact by and large, the FF series is seen to be in a broad quality decline since FFVII.
MGS4 does have a quality developer, but of all the major exclusives in the PS3 line-up, it is by far the most likely to go multi-platform.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
