Reasons why it will.
Price - it sales well enough at $400 its got many cuts to be made in the future to spur and maintain steady sales.
Capability - the games are damn good look great and will continue to get better as they did with previous PS consoles.
1st party support, as long as GT GOW Uncharted Ratchet whatever is being released the console will live.
Gimmick motion controls can be added, just bundle the new controller with games designed for it.
