1. Enormous overstock.
2. A change in an upcoming modular (the layout for 'what goes where on the shelf') and it doesn't call for this item to be a part of the new mod.
The $150.00 pricing could suggest a Clearance, but it could also be a "Rollback" item. However, I researched it and it's not a Rollback. In fact, the $188 is a "special buy" on Walmart.com -- so I'm leaning more toward this item being cleared out by your Walmart.
By the way, is it the Dickson Walmart? Cause I could ask Debbie what's going on.
