The year 2012 will be the time PS3 will be in front of XBox 360 in total console sale install base. The gap between PS3 and XBox 360 would be rapidly closing in America in 2012. The PS3 will continue selling in 2012 and a few more years later when it stops selling in 2016 after its 10 year life ends.
