Having watched the video, what you don't see is the questions to which the developers are responding.
My guess is that in the middle section, they are just reacting to a question posed about the Cell processor. Plus, since this this appears to be done for/by Sony, of course it is going to be slanted quite positively toward that console and its capabilities.
It's called marketing.
