Apparently lots of people are using Netflix on their 360s, so it seems many people are interested in downloadable content on their consoles. It doesn't mean games aren't important...
Of course one could say that you could just get another box to access those things on your TV, but that's more expensive. It seems to me like a good idea to make a single online platform which you can access from different devices... hence Netflix working on both PCs and 360s (and possibly Wii as well according to some past surveys). Sony should do the same with their PSN network to increase their revenue, not necessarily make it work on rival consoles but perhaps on other Sony products at least.
