Well who knows what Mario and Peach are doing inside the castle's bedroom when the cameras are off? Maybe the princess has some "special skills" which are worth having to endure all this BS every now and then...

And you should not forget that Mario might not be at his full mental capacity...eating magic mushrooms and the the like...I guess it is possible he isn't really aware what he is doing and how dangerous all this adventures are.

Quite the opposite, I'd say :P

Well, what can I say other than that this makes perfectly sense.

Where was Luigi in Mario 64 when his older brother did all the work? After reading this, I think there is a possibility he was waiting in Peach's bedroom all the time, lighting the candles to produce the right atmosphere for the victory celebration with his lady in pink.

Looking on Super Mario Land 2 for the Gameboy: Guess who "took care" of Peach while Mario was fighting Wario...

And in Galaxy? After you found him, he leaves immediately to find some star for you. And then he gets in trouble and sends you photos so you can find him.  But why the hell did he take a camera with him in the frist place? Was he really looking for stars? Or was is real goal an undie shot of Peach? Well, we'll never know...

...and I think it is better that way

I guess from now on I will view all Mario games from a different perspective...
