From what I've gathered around the net, if it then asks you to reformat, DON'T DO IT.

Apparently nothing is proven to work after that. Reformat may not fix anything, but you WILL lose your data. When it asks to reformat, simply hit "no", and then reset. Hopefully you will be able to access your data again, at which point I would suggest backing up your data onto your computer HD, and following the steps to remove, reinstall,reformat,and restore all the data. These steps are found with a quick google.

 

I tried to hit no and restart it like 10 times but still the same thing came up. Its working fine now but i did lose everything. Trying to install the 20 games and 1000 songs i had on it again now. and when it went to re-form the database it always said error must reformat hdd
