Doesn't matter, majority of people including gamers like solid things, something they can hold, they can can lend to friends, they can wrap up as an actual present and not just slip into a birthday card. etc etc.

I agree with the sentiment. But what about the digitalization of music?
People seem to be able to live without music in hand. Of course, those files are easy to move around.
Personally, I don't want to see a digital-only world. But we will be there in my lifetime -- and given my age that's a lot sooner than it would be for most of you.
