They should NOT CUT THE PRICE until God of War 3 comes out for a few months. The reason: NGSII, U2, Heavy Rain, WKC, ToV, SOIV, Cross Edge, Last Rebellion, Trinity Universe, Atelier Rorona, and FFXIII are going to come out by March next year by latest (I think). Why would they want to cut their prices? These will move their consoles. They should focus on getting AAA games out and make their prices more reliable and cheaper (45nm for example). AT MOST, they should make bundles for GoW, ToV, FFXIII, NGSII, and WKC in their most popular regions.
