Many parts of the excalating cost and bleak outlook are all a result of the US and the effect they have on Canada's available doctors and nurses.

But let me guess... not a single positive aspect of Canada' medical capabilities can be attributed to the US?
This seems to be a growing trends. When something bad happens, it always seems to become the US's fault, yet the US never gets credit for making any aspect of the world better.
It reminds me of religion. Christianity has the Devil to blame all the bad stuff on, and even when the bad stuff causes a good outcome, he never gets credit. Like for example, if the devil caused a plain to crash and 100 people die, and one of those people was a man who repeatedly raped his 10 year old daughter, god gets the credit for saving her.
Same thing here. The world demonizes the US. We get blamed for so much that's wrong with the world, and seldom get any positive credit.
