Really? A half a million more people lost jobs last month then gained them, and the free fall is over?

 

Yeah, it might be half a million but it's the best monthly improvement since october. If may sees similar results, it'll mean the trend is changing. 

Of course we don't know how long it'll take to land, nor how long it'll be until it takes off again. But at least the first step is over.

 

The worst month was 740,000. Last month was 540,000.... seems like the same level of bad to me.
