@Saviour. So you're saying that you cannot say that Hitler was a bad person? Or that Jesus was a good person? Afterall, both of those are judgements.

As for atheists not having explanations for things, a lot of us look long and hard for explanations. Usually explanations can be found through things like logic and the scientific method.

By judgments, I mean people I meet in my own life. Hitler was one of the worst people in history, there is absolutely NO dispute about that. That is why I hope there is a God, because if there is, Hitler has a place to go to account for his atrocities, instead of dying like a coward and taking his own life, avoiding punishment.

So basically you are saying that you hope there is a God so that Hitler can be punished or face some sort of consequences?

Hitler died. He paid the ultimate consequence. His demise is a lesson for us all. Humanity always learn something from history even though history has a tendency to repeat itself. That is his legacy.

As for your 'thirst after revenge/consequences'. Many religious people often rant about how they want others to burn in hell and stuff like that. I'm pretty sure the Jesus most christians believe in would forgive Hitler.

btw.. Rath, you enacted Godwin's Law. LOL LOL XD

Yea I do.When nobody believes in any sort of redemption, what is left to defend against anarchy and absolute chaos? Nothing. People could decide to do whatever the heck they want without and fear of consequence. People don't have to live life afraid, but for Pete's sake, there have to be some boundaries! As for Hitler, I can't find one person who will ever want to forgive him. What did he do to deserve forgiveness?

You should not ask "what did Hitler do to deserve forgiveness?" You should ask what it is inside of you that want other people to burn forever in hell? Wanting such a thing makes you the exact opposite of Jesus!

You are the so called christian here. Never had I expected that I would ever have to remind a self proclaimed christian about the codex and essential part of the New Testament.

Most Atheists I've met in my life, live a life closer to Jesus' values than many christians do. Quite the paradox, so to speak.
