None of these facts change the state of mind in most developers eyes that they can make a load of money extra by making quick casual games. Even if you're point was valid (which I think it isn't), you need to convince other developers to release more hardcore titles which is the biggest criticism the platform gets from the more traditional gamer.
The real point I guess is if you compare the library of each system and see how many "hardcore" games have been released on each then I'd suspect the Wii lags behind a little. When there is less choice for gamers then the few that remain will sell better anyway, hence why your top 10 metric is a flawed measurement in my opinion.
At the end of the day it doesn't matter if the majority of the Wii userbase are happy with the software they're provided.
