yet we don't hear any rumors that Microsoft and Sony will have to replace their consoles with controllers that are similar to the Wii, i.e. two different parts held in each hand, pointer and motion sensing.
Replacing the PS3 with a PS4 to add a Wii-mote like controller? Why?
Technically the PS3 is fully capable to make use of the Nintendo Wii-mote unmodified. There's already a driver available for PS3 Linux distros. Surely a Wii-mote like controller for the PS3 would be cool, but it wouldn't require a system upgrade.
