Firstly, i didnt make fun of US soccer i made fun of US football. (World definition see football.)

If we're going to get pissy over a stupid word, more people in more English-speaking nations refer to it as "soccer".

Since we're on an English-speaking board, the "real" word is "soccer".

So there. Can we get over it already? We all know what everyone is talking about here. Semantics don't matter one damned bit.

in England (English, being our language) its Football, so therefore, its Football on any website created in England and that uses English

English as you might imagine is the language of England

Americans speack American, which is different to English

No, we both speak English. We just happen to speak different dialects of the language.

So, do Canadians speak "Canadian" in your world and do Aussies speak "Australian"? Why stop there? Let's just keep creating languages. I hate the way American southerners speak. I barely understand half the crap they say. Let's call their language "American WTF Did They Just Say". What about Cockney? That shit makes no sense. We need a good language name for them, too.
