Many games for the PS3 or 360 that you listed have found themselves in bundles for at least a month in at least one of the three major markets.

The difference is subjective as I still find myself playing Wiisports but I've long discarded Motor Storm when I realized it had no multiplayer (funny story behind that.)

Yeah, but like I said, the max they could have sold during that time was 1m, wii sports and play are bundled since the beginning and have probably 95% (guessing) of the sales from bundling.

Ok, so I was right to credit you then.:P I did kind of realize that the numbers did actually change as you said they might, but I guess I just forgot to take back my refutes. I also thought that that very point WOULD make a good separate thread, but as you say, it might have some backlash as it requires those same goalposts.

and yes, core is a difficult concept to get behind. Really, the only way to list those games is to list the "top-selling" games, because they are technically the most core of the generation. Fortunately, for my argument's sake, our core games also seem to be the games defined by the gamers out there as "hardcore" as well. Even though I only consider games like starcraft and civilization hardcore.
