That's not true according to Chris Svensson of Capcom. He specifically said that VGC data is wrong, and that PS2 > Wii version. Also, remember that VGC data is incomplete for a lot of ps2 games.

I thought I saw someone from Capcom -- Sven or someone else -- later making a statement that seemed to contradict or provide additional information on Okami sales.  I do not recall the reference, but remember the linked quote above is from three months ago.

Plus, remember that Sven does not like the Wii or VGChartz. So you must take everything he says with a large dose of salt.
