It's just interesting that wii owners on this site feel the need to prove that the wii can sell core games.
I think that is interesting because HD games sales seem to be the provocative measure, ie: HD consoles are selling more core games.
This seems to be the reality that wii owners are going to have to deal with.
It isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is just how the console is evolving. The only people that should be unhappy are those people that have an affinity for core games and are concerned about the future of those games.
To summate, I think it is interesting that there are some Wii owners who are concerned even though they tout the change to casual gaming.
Important note: The numbers are going to change in a big way in the future when big name games like GT, FF, Twisted Metal, Halo ODST, and others come out.
EDIT: about your light-hearted comment. Most people bought duck hunt as a way to get another controller.
