I had sky high expectations for Star Trek...it managed to surpass them by a fair margin :)
Anyone remotely familiar with the original series should dig it. It's fast paced but not at the expense of character development (although the characters are already developed in most people's heads already). At the half way point on the Ice planet, the story gets some weight behind it and the nostalgia element goes into overdrive. Goosebumps ahoy!
I'm so glad at least one big summer movie this year isn't dumbed down and left me feeling like i'd just watched something with substance.
Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.
Patiently waiting for: Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2
