I'm fine with him doing it but the "It's acceptable in other countries" angle doesn't fly.

 

But harvesting coca is totally acceptable, unlike having sex with 14 y.o. boys. It's not like he'll refine cocaine. Cocaine is one of the many uses of coca.

Is it perfectly acceptable... in this country?  I mean in some countries it is perfectly acceptable to have sex with 14 year olds.  Or at least was in different parts of history.

I mean if he went to a country that allowed slavery would it be acceptable for him to have slaves for his time there?

In reality this just shouldn't be a big deal because cocaine shouldn't be a big deal.

No, you didn't get what I said. The point I was making is that I don't see why him harvesting coca should be news IN ANY PLACE.

 

Fair enough.  It seemed like it being legal in Bolivia was your starting point.. when it's really a nonfactor.
