They took over publishing rights to ensure they will be out the same day. I understand why they did it because it would suck having the game set to release with the movie and the game being delayed. Sony aren't pushing the release dates back for the other Ghostbuster games, I think Atari is in full control of when those are released. Or that's the way I'm understanding it. |
But what does Atari gain from delaying the rest of the versions? They didn't just come up with that idea on their own at the same time Sony decided to publish the PS2/PS3/PSP versions. That was part of the deal. And it's only happening in PAL versions.
Delaying the European PAL non-Sony versions was Sony's idea. And I have no idea how it helps them or anybody.
