While a price cut would undoubtedly attract more customers and gain more sales in the software department, would it be enough to persuade people? For all intents and purposes, the libraries of the xbox 360 and ps3 are basically the same with about a dozen ps3 exclusives worth buying. The xbox is still 200 dollars- effectively making it still 100 dollars cheaper. |
while that may be true, the ps3 does offer plenty more than the xbox. bluray, web browser, free online play, connectivity with the psp, arguably better graphics, etc. $100 for those investments is definately worth it, unless of course all of your friends have 360s.
