Any price cutting that Sony does only provides more fuel to the anti-Sony fire, since they are basically admitting to losing (Not that they lost, that they are losing). Unless Sony can deliver a killer app...which I don't think they have (I'm sorry but Final Fantasy and Metal Gear won't do it) they will continue to lose ground. I say this not because I believe those franchises are weak, but more so because the damage that has been done to the Playstation brand since E3 2006 will take several years and several amazing games to get past. |
