At current rate, PS3 may sell less than GameCube

another part of this no one has mintioned is that nintendo turned a hefty profit on the cube.... which sony is not they are eating there ass on the ps3, that is another factor that the ps3 was losing money when it cost $600, and i know they have not cut production costs that much there is no way in hell to be honest,

now if the pst goes to $399 it is losing lets say 1/3 more than before, givin there is some pretty serious production costs,

1. if it fails at $399 and does not get to the masses and losses more devs we all know where that road goes. Wii and MS fanboys dream

2. it gets to $399 sony bites the bullet and it pays off sales great and gets the 3rd partys and devs it deserves. sony fanboys dream

3. it gets the $399 and in 08 some nice games come out sales descent but its allready out of ideas except getting more devs, stays in 3rd place just under ms since it has  the mass market, (the part nintendo has not taken)<===== more what can happen may not sell 20 million given that a gen in gaming is only about 4-5 years. MS and nintendo will come out with better systems then the PS3 given the new technology in some years not the 10 years sony is hopping,

I hope this is a wake up call to Sony, no pun intended just the alarm clock is Really loud and its time to wake up
