Why do i think this has something to do with Sony's restructuring they've been doing, now they've realized they own the ghost busters IP, and don't know why the heck they're letting their competition access to it. Or it was a sneaky move to catch Microsoft off-guard? Wouldn't be more logical for Sony to have it exclusive for a long time in advance in order to hype it as a PS3 exclusive?
Maybe Sony will shock us and have a wii mote like peripheral ready by June 19th? seems like an ideal game for such a device. Maybe the game was not looking good, but Sony would stand to lose a lot by owning the license if the game didn't release at all- Would cross promotion with the blu ray release really actually sell the game? I don't think it would. Lots of questions..
It doesn't seem like Sony would make a move and publish something that's crap, makes me think this game might not be half bad. If the game is good it certainly could be a big move, but I don't think all that many people were thinking it would be. I'm hoping they can 'double' the ghosts count or whatever if it goes ps3 exclusive, since awhile back they were quoted saying something to the effect that the PS3 could handle twice as many on screen enemies. Kind of wish the game had co op though.
