seriously though, at E3, is nintendo going to announce mandatory cel-shading on all games?
Ok, now for super cereal; romanticism vs superflat?
I have a slight nagging sensation when trying to say whether one art style is fundamentally better than the other. Let me remind those who have turned this kind of argument into a type of HD vs wii battleground, that while a lot of wii games do use cartoon elements, there are also some realism games, and while a lot of HD console games do have elements of realism, the platforms are also spattered with many art styles from minimalist to hyper realism.
