You know whats funny? i agree i dont like his art designs at all, Dragon Ball is like .....ugh.

True, i agree the story is like the different episodes of the pokemon show, but did you finish the game? the jester is not the main antagonist ... ZOMG SPOILERS AFTER The jester is actually mind controlled by the staff he is holding and that staff also leads to the story leading to "What is this staff? and why does it need the jester?"

The Characters actually get more and more interesting as you go, and espicially the hero (and i AGREE i hate silent protagonists)

Your last point is true , infact very true, it is dated and old, but i liked the gameplay cause it reminded me of the first Final Fantasy for some reason, and thats why i liked it you know?

No, I didn't finish it (I couldn't endure it anymore). But I read the rest of the story in wiki, and saw I didn't miss anything important (not that there was actually ANYTHING important beforehand), it was more fetch quests and more boring cliches, so I don't regret it

The only character that had a bit of a redeeming thing was Yangus, because he tried at least a bit to break the cliché. But after 20 or so hours (don't remember exactly) of predicting each and every reaction of them, and getting tired of the lame jokes of the king, the dumb silent face of the protagonist, the jerk remarks of Angelo and the totally lack of anything that made me actually want to hunt Dhoulmagus (I mean, for example, when I chased Sephiroth in FF7, I wanted to confront him, I wanted to uncover the relation between him and Cloud, it made me want to keep playing -along with a lot of other things, because I loved the game-), I realized they wouldn't get anymore interesting
