How about playing the game for fun and not worry about stats at all? I know I'm one of those people who care too much about them and can't really enjoy multiplayer games because of that... I should take my own advice!

Still, nowadays, if your rank is better, you go against better people in matchmaking. That totally sucks. What if I just want to play casually and not with teh skillz?

i think thats why im into shadowrun lately (also im nuts about the source material and i got it for what was left on a gift card), but theres so few players and games going on, and no stat tracking at all.  so you just play whoever, and theres not much choice.  its oddly refreshing
