I think it's means nothing.

My boss and his wife made 110K last year. They have three kids, and own a home. The total income tax they paid, was 10k.

They paid less then 10% in taxes, and they are in a high tax bracket.

We need a flat tax, and we need it now.

Also, the answer is not more taxes (not that I am against it if we need it). The answer is less spending. Our government is spending ungodly amounts of money.

Flat tax or not... what we really need is to just get rid of all deductions.

No deductions.  You just pay a percentage of your income... period.

No discounts even for kids... screw it.
