It all relates to where you live also. Here in Texas food prices haven't changed a whole lot. Plus a lot of farmers around here love Ethanol.
My friend's dad swithed over from growing 100% cotton to 50% corn and 50% cotton about ten years back because he saw the need for the crop in the future.
It has help open up different opportunities of where to sell his product.
While other parts of the U.S. are raising food prices and don't see the benefit because they don't grow corn.
