Offtopic, but you need to reread you Middle Eastern history regarding the expansion of the Islamic Empire. It was not religious based. In fact the Christians and Jews living under Islamic rule had more religious freedoms than under Christian Roman Rule or Persian.
This expansion was actually for power and money, not religion. Islam was not pushed on the populace as was the case when Roman leadership transitioned to Christianity.
