The lack of magicky stuff was something I enjoyed about Kessen, but that's not to say the inclusion of it would ruin the sequel, as long as it wasn't too overpowered. But alas I never got the chace to try out Kessen II, and now my PS2 is in the care of my nephew I may never get the chance.
