Not only it is not mind-boggling, it doesn't even push the envelope set by Gears. I tried pointing out objective technical details, you dismiss them and prefer to hype everything you like as if it's the second coming.

My take: if you really want an impressive engine, point to the CryTek engine or to Alan Wake from what was visible in the old tech demos.

In other conditions, I could debate on why I find that shader postprocessing cheap, or why you are wrong about explosions, smoke, animations and details, but that's apparently not a conversation you want to sustain. Thus, tag me a fanboy and bask in the comforting warmth of your opinion in the company of "million of other gamers", I won't stand in your way :)

You can talk about whatever technicalities you want. I dont care if LP2 characters have 2 polys less per character, what I visually see on the screen is what I base to be more or less impressive than another game. LP 2 could be made with the Mario 64 engine and I wouldnt give a crap. If it looked better with that engine then I'd say it.

I have said that I think 2009 media graphics award would go to Alan Wkae or Sc or Heavy Rain. But LP2 is impressing me for 2010. Normally I'd be careful about what I say on this site about anyhting against the precious KZ2 ( of which I stated is my top graphics currently we can buy at the shops for consoles. ) but after watching this, it's fairly a no brainer visually for me.

I havent finished KZ2 yet I will add, I have only played about 3 hours of the campaign. But just watched a video of grenades going off in KZ2 and barrel explosions, and it's not even close to LP 2's explosions. KZ2 had no shockwaves, flames did not have the detail of LP2's and the smoke always comes out in lines and there isnt as much of it.

Like I said it's for me to say what impresses me more.
