The highest selling PS3 exclusive sold 3.9 million, while the highest selling games for the 360 and Wii sold about 9 million and 47 million respectively. It's not hard to understand why you're more likely to be seeing people playing those games. As for most of the high selling PS3 multiplatforms, they sold better on the 360. I'm not trying to pick on the PS3, but it's not just its lower hardware sales that are why you don't see it in TV shows/programs.
