Its actually the other way around. Traditional fighters have a lower skill difference because of the limit to set combos and auto-lock. Whereas a game like melee or brawl have things thrown in that effect gameplay such as: use of staging (what shape the ledges are can affect your gameplay and amount of platforms), spacing, DI reading (are they going to go left or right?) and the free ability to make combos yourself without there being set in stone ones. |
Brawl has no skill when compared to traditional fighters.
