Eva is as awful as it is legendary in the anime world.

 

No way..Ok the whole Death and Rebirth thing threw everyone off..But it's just about organic mechs made out of aliens that are presumed to be heavenly beings..but with close links in DNA to humans....Anyways...here is my list...

Bolded: I'm sorry, but that plot synopsis is pretty far off the mark. Not only do you have the origins of the Angels wrong, but you failed to expand on any of the characterization and metaphysical themes, and shinji's search for verity (which ties in to the metaphysical themes very well). This is the inherent problem with the series, its a very unique narrtitive appproach that is hard to follow and severely limited by the medium used to tell the story.

 

Aside from that you suggest some pretty good series, especially in the Fantasy/SciFi Genre.
