uhm mass effect was... different for a bioware game anyway
felt like they took the step from bg to knights of the old republic even further with this one and it worked pretty well
it looks gorgeous and the story quests and characters are standard quality.. the only thing i missed was the character interaction it was restricted to a few short conversations with and among the npcs and since bg im such a sucker for this soap operaesque element.. its the banter of minsc or hk47 that makes the games feel so alive
and the exploration part was disappointing you know so many solar systems but only one explorable planet per system.. and even fewer planets had something exciting on them exept for the plot relevant worlds
so to put it bluntly.. it was good but there was too little of it
i know a 3d game can never be as big as baldurs gate but it would be great of them to recreate the amount of locations, quests and party interaction seen in kotor a bit and some more of the good old humor perhaps
but before i get scolded for being too off topic... did any of you try the new maps yet and can tell me if they are the same quality of the core ones.. and if they fit in or not?
