Your absolutely wrong the 360 shape is all about controlling space time curvature, and thus theoretically could focus tight beam tachyon transmissions. The console is too far ahead of its time so much so that its signals arrive in the year 1980. Unfortunately the only receiver sensitive enough is the venerable tin foil hat.
