Awesome Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, MSDN, etc), great Microsoft-developed software (Office, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Media Player (it's not great, but it's better than iTunes (iTunes being the sole reason why I'm ditching iPods this year)). For every piece of software available on Mac OS, there are 10 alternatives on Windows. Also, I'm a gamer (you wouldn't have guessed), and so I go to where the games are. Greater hardware choice. I'm not limited to one manufacturer. If I were a Mac OS guy, I'd be trapped within a sort of quasi-monopoly, where I'd be charged extortionate prices for hardware. |
I couldn't disagree more here, if anything it's the complete lack of decent development tools that makes me dislike Windows
I mean how can Microsoft provide great developments tools if it's Operating System is one of the only systems out there that doesn't support bash or any of it's variants.
How can you possibly misspell QWERTY? It's spelled correctly on the damn keyboard.
