before it was firefox, but I got some nasty problems with flash/shockwave based sites with FF (probably because my windows installation is fucked, but I'm far to lazy to set it up freshly again)
so I tried opera and that browser really is slick and nice (and works with all the sited I had problems with before) - right now my vote goes to opera
