Nothing makes me want to throw my controller into the wall and splinter it into a thousand pieces than a game that seems to be hard just for the sake of being hard.  I'm all for varying levels of difficulty, but why call a difficulty level in your game "easy" or "casual" if it's still freakin' tough?  Some examples for me are the Resistance series.  I have to play them on the easiest difficulty or I die constantly.  I still die from time to time on the easiest as well.  What's up with that?  I can play many other FPS on at least the normal difficulty without this problem.  Another example is Gears of War.  I don't know what the difficulty is like on the 360, but I'm playing it on the PC.  I still get shredded sometimes even on the casual difficulty.  I'm at the end fighting Raam and I just can't do it.  I've let loose strings of words that would have made George Carlin blush.  As a developer, why would you spend all of the time and money to create something I might never get to see in its entirety?

What games just completely have you seeing red?

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
