I meant to put 'out of the Westernised countries' in that sentence. Of course Saudi Arabia is more (socially) conservative. Anyway, if you look at Obama, he's one of the most liberal senators they've had and yet his policies on healthcare, education, economic regulation, taxation, etc. would mark him out as further right than the UK's Conservative party.
