Well I know this. If Sony drops the PS3 to $300 this year and releases GT5. That would greatly help sales but Sony would probably lose money as a result.

I assume Sony is making profit on the hardware by now. But it might only be a few bucks. No way they can drop it a $100 without huge losses.
