Namco TALES Studios > Square Enix >> Capcom. Capcom gives it an effort though, with Breath of Fire. For JRPGs anyway. For RPGs in General:

Bioware > Lionhead = Bethesda

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
