Where did you hear that GT5 won't have car damage? I recall reading it will. And why are you making out the lack of damage as a GOOD thing? Damage is a consequence for driving badly, and makes you drive more realistically as a driver, because there are consequences. You drive more wreckless when you know your car won't get any damage. I believe arguing "perfect damage or no damage" is a weak argument. Since driving sims on consoles aren't perfect, nor will they likely EVER be, then might as well argue that all driving games should be arcade racers where you never have to take your foot off the gas peddle and use a brake. To me your comment about GT5 is a rationalization for Gran Turismo not having it. And if it does get it, but it isn't great, you will end changing your tune that it is GREAT it is in there, and no longer say it has damage.

Companies like Ferrari said no to damage which Yamauchi wanted which is not the rubbish in Forza 2 where you get little bumps and what not. Online with the damage Yamuchi wants would be terrible as a car would be totalled in no time.
"Perfect damage or no damage" is not even an arguement, it is simply the truth and you must accept. The man who created the GT franchise said it, you obviously have no clue about him or me with your final sentence being absolutely comical. :/
